2021 Grenache
Grenache is the most widely planted red wine varietal in the World and yet rarely bottled in its own. It is the core varietal in all the GSMs around the World, like our own Throne, or the great Wines of Australia, Spain and others. Depending on where it's grown it adds different elements to each wine, aromatics to some, mid-palate lift to others. It's rarely made as a complete wine on its own but when it is, it is AMAZING. This Grenache was made from our special Block in Dry Creek Valley, a steep, terraced hillside in a tiny pocket-canyon that produces alluring aromatics of rose petals and red fruit, to enhance the turkey like your cranberry sauce. A soft, medium body like Pinot Noir yet with even more of the spices that match with the stuffing and all wrapped in an extra silky texture and finish
