Not just old vines. Ancient
vines...at our home.
Planted in
1896. 107 years old this year. Dry farmed. That means no
irrigation except for the winter rains.
Serious concentration of flavors! Amazing
brown spice character from the deep old vine roots. Rich,
lush, blackberry and cherry flavors wrapped in layers if
spice. This old vineyard does not make much, but what it
does make is special!
Reminder: The 2000 Old Vine
Zinfandel sold out in one day. |
