One of the five "Neighborhood" Pinot Noir 2019 series, this vineyard follows the western edge of the Mayacamas range, this northernmost neighborhood has the least fog influence. Soils may be the most diverse within the Valley and are both volcanic and sedimentary. The western facing vineyards along the hills are exposed to warm afternoon temperatures and grapes tend to ripen earlier. These are often the first of our Pinot Noir picks, which gives you juicy red fruit and crunchy young acidity that can be celebrated right after release, or that can hold up over extended aging. If you were a fan of our Starr Ridge years ago, this is the one for you!
