The third Neighborhood Pinot that you have tasted, and I would be lying if I said it wasn't being rapidly depleted at my house. Located in the southernmost part of the Russian River Valley, the Sebastopol Hills neighborhood is classified by the significant winds that thicken the grape skins as well as lengthen the growing season. Only 10% new oak gives a true expression of this neighborhood's dark side while caramelizing the darker fruit and supporting its spice and subtle clay minerality. This allows for a delicious mouthful of dark fruit and wiry acids, a super drinker on its own, or a really friendly food wine.
